2012 - Assembling new grounds / The National Geographic Series
This series of collages is assembled from National Geographic magazines? cutouts of the last 30 years. The cutout pictures, that once recounted a reality of a certain context, now suggest a new order of things when rearranged as artworks. The chaotic new reality introduced in the works reflects the concern over the fragile political and economical state of our country and in extension that of Europe.
